ANGTHONG NATIONAL MARINE PARK

Ang Thong National Marine Park is a pristine archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. It features towering limestone mountains, thick jungle, white-sand beaches and hidden coves and lagoons to explore. Ang Thong park is a protected area of more than 100 Km2 of land and sea. It is home to a rich variety of exotic wildlife and sea creatures. Snorkeling, hiking, sea kayaking, caving and simply relaxing are the main activities to enjoy at Ang Thong

KOH TAO KOH NANGYUAN

When you come to Koh Tao, there are 2 must-dos: go diving and go to Koh Nang Yuan viewpoint. Koh Nang Yuan is just in front of Koh Tao in the northwest of the island, Koh Nangyuan Island is a private island open to visitors from 10am to 5pm each day, a little after the end of Sairee beach, the most popular beach on Tao island. The view from the top of one of the islands of this small archipelago is probably the most famous and most popular image of Koh Tao

BIG BUDDHA

Big Buddha temple sits majestically on a small rocky island off Koh Samui’s north-eastern corner. Known locally as Wat Phra Yai, its golden, 12-metre seated Buddha statue was built in 1972 and remains one of the island’s most popular attractions. Set on Koh Faan, Big Buddha temple is reached by a causeway that connects it to the main island. The Big Buddha can be seen at a distance of several kilometres and is often the first landmark people see when arriving to Samui by air.

MAGIC TEMPLE SECRET GARDEN

Secret Buddha Garden is hidden away high in the hills in Koh Samui's interior, offering majestic views and an unusual collection of statues amid lush jungle surrounds. The gardens are a creation of an old Samui fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk, who in 1976 began erecting several statues and temples around his family's verdant land.

HINTAI HINYAI (GRANDFATHER GRANDMOTHER ROCK)

Hinta Hinyai is a don’t-miss destination. It is located just before Lamai beach and is in an oxbow bay. The bay contains large rocks and pebbles. A particular large stone appears head height and resembles the shape of male genitalia. It is called Hinta (or grandfather’s rock). Not too far away, there is a rock like female’s genitalia, so the name given to this is Hinyai (or grandmother’s rock). Despite natural sculpture mixed with human imagination, it cannot help thinking that nature has been cheeky rather than intentional in creating such a wonder.
From Hinta Hinyai, other outstanding tourist attractions in Ko Samui, on the Gulf of Thailand, are also accessible in a one-day trip. It is possible to arrange an itinerary driving around the island that allows you to visit every beach and try every activity. Just simply drive around Highway number 4169 for 57 kilometers. This is the main route that takes you to all other beaches in only half a day.

WAT PLAILAEM

Wat Plai Laem is a Buddhist temple compound on Samui's north-east coast of Samui, featuring a striking white 18-arm image of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. Close to the Big Buddha temple, Wat Plai Laem offers visitors a view into Chinese-Thai beliefs as well as some elaborate Buddhist-themed art and architecture.
